Emma Renaud (Kelsie Johnson), a young musician hitting rock bottom seeks solace in a Victorian home she and her sister Jules, inherits after the death of a distant relative. As she peruses her new real estate and considers selling or renovating it into rental property she comes across a vintage treasure box in the attic. Inside is a portable cassette player labeled “Playback”.

While Emma listens to the tape and takes inventory of the home, supernatural things begin to happen pooling into a near deadly awakening for Emma as she stalked by an unseen force.
